SAYoF is guided by a strong and inclusive governance structure designed to ensure strategic leadership, effective coordination, and impactful delivery across the region. At the helm is the Patron, a highly respected figure who provides overarching guidance, strengthens partnerships, and supports alignment with SAYoF’s vision and mission. This is complemented by the Regional Executive Board, a diverse and largely youth-led body representing SADC Member States, which provides strategic direction, oversight, and decision-making support while integrating specialized advisory functions. The day-to-day operations are driven by the Regional Secretariat, led by the Chief Executive Officer and supported by a dedicated team and structured clusters that coordinate programs and initiatives. Together, these structures ensure that SAYoF remains responsive, impactful, and firmly rooted in youth leadership and regional collaboration.
